Warm Feet, Cute Gear, Big Heart.

If you’ve ever stood on the ice in synthetic boots, you know the exact moment the chill sinks in. For me, coaching at my local club in Milton, Ontario, it took about 45 minutes flat.

My mom handed me an ancient pair of white fleece boot covers to try. They worked—my feet stayed warm for hours—but they weren't exactly a fashion statement. They made my feet look like fluffy marshmallows. I searched online for a sleek, cute alternative and came up completely empty-handed. So, I decided to design one myself.

After countless prototypes, fabric runs, and testing different attachment styles on cold rinks, the original product was born. The first day I wore them on the ice, my young CanSkate students looked down and told me my feet looked cozy. That was it—Skate Cozy was born.

What "Skate Cozy" Means

The name serves a double purpose:

• The Skate Cozy: Just like a tea cozy envelops a teapot to keep the heat inside, our covers hug your skates to lock in warmth.
• Skating Cozy: A belief that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice style to stay comfortable on the ice. Warm gear can—and should—be cute.

As an independent designer, every product you find on this site is either created or curated directly by me. The original Skate Cozy is a protected industrial design, and every single pair is handmade with time, care, and attention to detail.

I believe in keeping things simple, fair, and honest. That’s why I keep our pricing fully transparent—no surprise fees, added taxes, or unexpected shipping costs added at checkout. What you see is what you pay.

Products will evolve based on what our community loves and new products will be introduced regularly, but my commitment to warmth, comfort, and thoughtful design won't change. I look forward to being part of your skating journey, no matter what that is.
